Five years later... Ruby and Emily went on their first ever date... and it had to be in another planet. So they were away, two fine warriors.

Shadowz and Jennifer got married, and were staying together in the same place. Xepher stayed with them too, as their 'butler'. They stayed out of the battles with the remaining demons, and kept to themselves.

One day, Shadowz approached Xepher while he was walking around the garden of Shadowz's modest but not so humble abode. "What's up?" asked Xepher.

"Well...it's just that I want to go to the Realm of Illusions to loosen up a little, that's all. Can you take care of Jennifer while I'm away?" asked Shadowz imploringly.

"Uh. Take care of her? Might as well walk down a dragon's throat... Ok. But I can't promise anything. She'd kill me once I'd tell her you've gone." said Xepher.

"Really? Thanks!" with that, Shadowz took off to the portal chamber.

"WHAT????!!!!!!" yelled Jennifer. Xepher actually had to step back to avoid being blown away. "He went away?!"

"Yes, yes. He went already, and asked me to take care of you for him while he's gone. He should be back by next year." replied Xepher calmly, all the same backing away from the berserk girl.

She sat down grudgingly and continued to write her novel, apparently about a warrior. The title was left blank.

"What're you writing?" asked Xepher.
"None of your buisiness." replied Jennifer curtly, just as there came a knock on the door.

"Come in." said Jennifer. A man in the uniform of the Hornet fleet of space defense came in. "What...?" muttered Xepher.

"Captain Jennifer...?" enquired the officer.
"Yes...what's the matter?" asked Jennifer.
"We are recruiting units, comprising of soul warriors and armada fighters to attack an approaching ship, codenamed AERIA, destroying planets on the way to Rursus." replied the officer.

"Hmm...suppose we could go and fight. To protect the world..." said Xepher."But without Shadowz..."
"Let's go. I can't wait to see the looks on his face when I go off without his notice." decided Jennifer.

They followed the officer to the defense headquarters. "Captain Jennifer, you are in charge of the sixth platoon. The AERIA is immense, and we plan to destroy it from the power generators." said the space defense admiral."Your platoon will consist of several soul warriors and a couple of armada fighters, namely yourself, Xepher, Jesslyn here, Carolyn, Dragonsniper and John. You are your platoon's commanding officer, Xepher as the main assault unit. jesslyn and Carolyn are also attackers, and Dragonsniper is the defense unit. John is the technician, and will deal with all technical matters."

"Jesslyn and Carolyn..." muttered Xepher as he eyed the two girls, who in turn eyed him suspiciously. Xepher remembered the phoenix and the assassin. As did they. Jennifer walked up to them and shook their hands. "Nice to meet you...although we did meet before."

They just smiled. "And you two." added Jennifer as she turned to the two guys, skulking at the back.

"Board the ships!" came a blaring voice from the loudspeakers.

"Time to go!" said Jennifer as the sixth platoon boarded the cruiser.
