As the demon stronghold Darkgarde shattered, the five soul warriors witnessed it's destruction from the plains of Dagorlad. The demons on the fields dissipated as the crystal was destroyed. Soroga and the others who came from Rhapsodia were overawed by the might of the five.
At that moment, a group of mages arrived at the camp, followed closely by elven archers. They heard of the attack and wished to join the war, and were graciously accepted by the commander Sieghart.
The host marched on to the next stronghold, Gothicus, three thousand fighters strong. More joined them each day, yet their pace never slowed.
As they neared Gothicus, the scouts reported that hordes of demons were approaching them, keen to destroy their supposedly weak army. Sieghart gave the order to prepare for battle, archers and mages to the rear while the cavalry were in front.
For all their might, they just weren't prepared for the onslaught of demons.
A wave of fire poured over the hills, flowing like a tide of endless death. Sieghart gave the order to charge, and charge they did.
However, both forces collided against an unseen wall, so vast that the demons could not circumvent it. A blond-silver haired figure, swathed in black, rose out of a hole in the ground.
Both sides, alliance and demons, fell silent as all acknowledged the horror of disturbing this one creature. A hybrid human-angel...
...Kaithlyn.
The alliance began to fall back, fleeing from the psychic female. The demons did likewise. Yet, another wall appeared that cut off their escape routes. "Die." she uttered, and intense forces began to literally rip warriors asunder. Ripples appeared in the ground, quickly replaced by fissures that swallowed fighters whole.
The mages in both sides tried in vain to attack Kaithlyn, only to have their spells turned back towards them. Those that tried to flee, couldn't, as they found themselves grasped by unseen hands.
All who opposed her perished, some in gruesome manners too horrible to describe. She laughed hard at the folly of the mages, and caused most warriors to scream in agony as she planted pain in their bodies.
Xepher broke free of the torture and launched himself at her, sword raised, eyes narrowed. She turned and saw him, then smiled darkly. His body freezed up, and was unable to move.
Xepher gulped. All eyes turned to watch this horrible scene. Those who still had eyes, anyway. Some had theirs torn out by her mere thought.
She slowly walked up to him, and said:" Disturbing my rest twice already? This is not good for you at all." Psychic blades cut in Xepher's body as he was stretched tight from psychic chains. He was unable even to scream.
A demon general too, launched itself at her, roaring and brandishing his giant battleaxe. She formed his shape with the churned up soil, and ripped off it's arms. The same happened with the demon itself. It gaped at the arms on the ground.
She squeezed the clay doll to a pulp, and the demon general was crushed, his blood spraying everywhere. "I could do this to all here, and not lose anything." Kaithlyn said as she laughed. "I could kill you all!"
