The dark panthers raced through the ravaged lands near the palace. All demons the escape party met were eradicated by mages of the group, and any that strayed too near were slain by the escapees' weapons.
But the horde that attacked them grew swiftly as they neared the advance force to Rhapsodia. More and more blocked their way, until their progress was slowed. This could not continue any longer.
Razel knew that, and shouted:"Galarthus! Mikashi! To me!"
The said mages urged their mounts to his flanks, and all three thrusted their left arms outwards, chanting some arcane magic. A shield of rich azure hue flickered to life in front of them.
Any demon that touched it was instantly vaporized. The pace increased.

The banished warriors were catapulted through insanity, and emerged in the amorphous realm of the Rift of Reality. That by itself wasn't dismaying, but they were dropped smack into the midst of a horde of outworldish creatures.
The Rift Warriors' encampment was nearby, and they fought a way to it.
As they reached the fortress, a knight leapt down, and held his gleaming, rune-carved blade high. "Who goes there?!" he demanded.
"Banished warriors by Aria the archdemon..." muttered Xepher.
Apparently the knight had sharp hearing, for he heard the demon's name, and gasped.
"A-Aria...?" he stuttered, his countenance faltering.
"Yes, Aria. That bastard who sent us into the Void Prison." said Ruby.
"......" the knight then yelled:"Open the gates!"

Jesslyn snuck into an orcish encampment. She crept around, until she found the one she sought.
"Gralsh..." she whispered.
The orc called Gralsh heard her call, and immediately turned at her direction, battleaxe ready. "Who goes there?!" he growled.
Jesslyn swung down from her tree, upside down. "Long time no see."
Gralsh started. Then, his face broke into an orc equivalent of a grin.
"Jesslyn." grunted Gralsh happily. "It has been a long time. What are you doing here?"
"Well...the Alliance is planning on storming the demons, and would need the help of you guys. If your people and your allies aid us in this struggle, we would have a better chance." said Jesslyn, flipping down from the tree.
"...alliance with the Alliance...I don't know...I'm just a chieftain, not a commander. I can't do much..." muttered Gralsh.
"Perhaps if I go with you to the leaders, I can convince them." said Jesslyn. "Besides, I can fight our way out, if need be."
"Alright. Come. I will bring you to the leaders' tent." replied Gralsh.

Emily grunted as she swung her Stormreaver at a flying demon, who cried out in pain as it's chest was caved in by the powerful strike.
"There are too many from the sky!"shouted Emily. "We must thin them!"
As a response, two mages in the middle of the group chanted a spell. A halo appeared above them, shielding them from the airborne threats.
From the front, Razel shouted:"We will take a detour around the Ice Peaks! That will lose these vermins! Follow me!"
He shifted his direction, the rest following suit. Razel lashed his crackling whip, and it blasted a demon out of his path. They were nearly at the point where the scouts of the White Knights, the holy order of the land.
